Hire-Up is committed to maintaining and developing the range of EPB's (Elevated Platform Boom) available for hire. After much searching for a vehicle with the neccessary specifications. Hire-Up purchased a Scania brand truck with the vision of customising and modifying it for peak performance in this industry. The Scania has both the power, stability and reliability required for successful operations out in the field.

The modifications started with stripping the truck down and re-designing the exterior structure to suit the elevated platform boom on the rear tray. The cab of the truck has been converted to a crash style cab, with a roof chop. The most obvious point is the channel cut through the centre where the boom sits. The roof spoiler either side of the boom will improve basic aerodynamics, as well as completing the futuristic and aggressive look of the truck as a whole.
